Meet our Board

Ben Agee
President/Chairman of the Board

Ben Agee is committed to obeying Christ in whatever God calls him to do.  His passion is international missions with a special emphasis on at-risk children.  Although Ben prayed to receive Christ as his Savior when he was 10, it wasn’t until he was 24 that he truly accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord.Originally from Pine Hill, Alabama, Ben graduated from Auburn University in 1990 with his B.S. in computer engineering and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in December 2001.

Ben was ordained into the gospel ministry by First Baptist Church of Panama City, Florida in October of 1992 and he served as Interim Pastor at Seagrave Baptist Church in Seagrove, Florida for about six months.Ben served as the Executive Director as well as on the Board of Directors for International Care, Inc. from May 2001 through April 2004.  In April of 2004, Ben and his wife, Julie, founded ‘LOVEM CARE MINISTRIES’, an organization that ministered primarily in Central Asia to children who are at risk eternally. Ben served as the president of this organization until deciding to close down the organization at the end of 2014 after government regulations and religious persecution forced the organization to shut down the youth transition home that was operating.

Ben has formally served at Victory Baptist Church as a deacon and the Missions Team Leader, and then also served as the Interim Pastor from October 2012 through September 2013, when the church called Pastor Zane Owens as the Senior Pastor.  At that time, the church also called Ben as the Administrative and Missions Pastor.
Ben and Julie were married in May of 1992 and they have six children ranging from 12 to 22 years of age. Their children include three boys, Austin, Jordan, and Zach and three beautiful girls, Sara, Leighanne, and Hannah.

Kim Hendrix
Secretary/Treasurer

Kim has been married to Randy since 1988.  Kim and Randy were unable to have children of their own, but they have always been around children and ministering to children in their church.  Several years ago they participated in an Orphan Sunday emphasis at church where they experienced a simulation of a day in the life of an orphan.  As a result of that event, Randy and Kim both felt God calling them to get involved with orphans, so they became foster parents and have been serving as foster parents for five years.  Randy and Kim have both been to Honduras on a short-term mission trip and she is committed to the vision of providing a loving, Christian family environment for children.

Austin Agee
Director

Austin has had the heart for orphans and those less fortunate for a great portion of his life through the adoptions of his lovely sisters from China.  Austin has been a part of several mission trips locally (within the United States), and internationally to Nicaragua, where he has shown the love of Jesus through construction, sports camps, and discipleship.  Austin has been heavily involved in the youth ministry at Victory Baptist Church and is currently serving in the sound booth at Victory.  Austin was born in Panama City, FL in 1993 and has been married to his beautiful wife Taylor since June 2014.

Zane Owens
Director

Pastor Zane is devoted to Christ and the Word of God.  Zane’s greatest passion in ministry is disciple-making; simply following the biblical model of sharing the faith, teaching the Word of God and mentoring others.  Because of this passion, Zane has a driving desire to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations and he leads Victory Baptist Church to be active in local, national, and global missions.Zane grew up in church, but spent most of his teen years running from God and into trouble.  By his late teens, he was heavily involved in drugs and crime, which ultimately led to his arrest and incarceration.  After being released from prison in 1996, Zane left his delinquent life behind, but still did not surrender his life to God until August 2003.  Shortly after Zane came to know Christ as his Savior and Lord, he began to hear the call of God to enter into ministry.  Zane was ordained into the ministry in February 2007 while he was serving in his first position at Charity Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia as minister of music and youth. Zane served at Charity from October 2004 until February 2009, when he accepted the call to serve as minister of music and youth at Victory.  On September 29, 2013, the church family called Zane as the Senior Pastor.

Because of his own life experiences, Zane has a burden for people.  It is his desire to help others not make the same mistakes he has made, to reach out to the hurting, the lonely, and the outcast and show them that God loves them and wants to have a personal relationship with them.
A native of Cairo, Georgia, Zane and his wife, Sabrina, were married in May of 2000 and they are the parents of two children, Elissa, born 2009 and Jude, born 2013.
